Hi! OMG this so awkward haha.. Sudah lama aku tidak menulis blog seperti ini guys

Oke let’s start, jadi di tahun baru 2026 ini aku mendapatkan rezeki yang sudah lama ada diatas angit yaila bahasanya, aku memulai lembaran baru dengan mendapatkan pekerjaan. Yap pekerjaan, sebagai job seeker yang hari harinya selalu gonta ganti open job seeker app, aku selalu berdo’a dan berharap setiap mengklik “apply” segala loker. Karena aku lulusan manajemen agribisnis, jadinya pekerjaan dengan spesification agribisnis terbilang tidak banyak, untungnya di perkuliahan output yang aku dapatkan sebagian besar adalah dari segi manajemen yang dapat mendukung aku untuk terjun di berbagai manajemen bisnis.

Tetapi, sama sekali tidak terpikirkan untuk seorang asri ini, yang dulu menganggap IT adalah hal yang paling merumitkan di dunia, ternyata itu adalah jalan terbaik yang Allah tentukan untuk aku di tahun baru 2026 tepatnya 5 Januari 2026. Aku menandatangani kontrak kerja sebagai Sales & Business Development sebuah perusahaan IT di Bekasi.

“Katanya menghindari IT, kenapa di apply lokernya” ucapku dalam hati untuk pikiran dan jari tubuh ini huft. Mungkin sebagian job seeker memegang prinsip ini “semua yang nyambung kita apply, tinggal rezeki kita aja nanti dimana”, dan itu juga prinsip aku saat mencari pekerjaan sambil melakukan pekerjaan sebagai asisten dosen. Jujur dalam melakukan proses seleksi posisi ini, aku sama sekali tidak mempersiapkan apapun selain sinyal dan laptop, but yes im here as new employment. Sebelum bekerja, hati dan pikiran selalu fight untuk meyakini diri sendiri bahwa aku bisa di bidang yang aku takuti dulu.

Ini baru hari ke-5 aku bekerja (walaupun belum real mengerjakan job desc pekerjaan), tapi bisa kukatakan aku bisa bekerja disini dengan nyaman bersama tim yang kooperatif. Perusahaan ini memiliki budaya kerja yang bisa meningkatkan lagi rasa semangat aku dalam menulis, literasi, riset, dan banyak lainnya. “Menulis membaca?” Yap budaya yang sulit ditemukan di tempat kerja lain (mungkin), yang dimana hanya ber fokus untuk bekerja dan menghasilkan profit. Tapi di perusahaan ini kami berkembang dan bertumbuh bersama dengan upgrade diri melalui rutinitas belajar bahasa inggris, menulis blog, dan membaca artikel.

Next lagi deh aku spill lagi keseharian as a new employment bcz still a lot things that make me more comfortable (maybe insyaAllah) Anyeong!

Today, I am still in my onboarding phase as a new employee at Excellent. Honestly, everything feels new to me, especially learning about Proxmox, a service I had never known before.

Instead of going deep into technical details, today I focused more on the marketing side, especially how to explain Proxmox services to clients in a simple and understandable way. This made me realize that selling IT services is not only about the technology itself, but also about how we communicate it to people with different backgrounds.

My learning process today was greatly helped by ChatGPT, which supported me in understanding and practicing how to deliver Proxmox services clearly. Even though I still have a lot to learn, today’s experience helped me gain a little more confidence.

I’m trying to enjoy this process step by step. I don’t have to understand everything right away, as long as I keep learning and moving forward.

Today was my third day at work. I continued learning about Proxmox and followed my daily learning routine as part of my role in Sales and Business Development.

I studied Proxmox through the official website, focusing on Proxmox Backup Server. From this, I learned that Proxmox is not only used for virtualization, but also helps companies manage secure and efficient backups.

I also reviewed the presentation materials used for client discussions about Proxmox Virtual Environment (PVE), including the FAQ. This helped me understand how the product is explained to clients.

In addition, I learned about several Proxmox subscription agreements, including Proxmox Mail Gateway, Proxmox Backup Server, and Proxmox Virtual Environment.

To complete my daily routine, I studied English on Duolingo and read an article from Dahlan Iskan’s Daily Notes on Disway titled “Timtim Maduro.”

Overall, today was a steady learning day that helped me gradually understand the products I will be offering to clients.

Today marks a new and meaningful experience for me, as it is my first day working at PT Excellent Infotama Kreasindo as part of the Sales and Business Development team. Feelings of excitement, nervousness, and curiosity came together, as this is my first step into the professional world, particularly in the field of technology and business services.

On my first day, I was introduced to the work environment, company culture, and team structure. PT Excellent Infotama Kreasindo is known as a business consulting company in the field of computer and IT services, including mail hosting and other technology solutions for businesses. From this introduction, I began to understand that sales and business development are not only about selling products, but also about understanding client needs and offering the right solutions.

I also received an overview of the company’s products and services, target market, and sales workflow. This helped me realize that this position requires strong communication skills, the ability to analyze client needs, and solid teamwork. Discussions with colleagues and supervisors gave me clearer insight into the company’s expectations for my role.

In addition, the open and supportive work environment made me feel comfortable learning and asking questions. I realized that the first day is not about knowing everything, but about being willing to learn, adapt, and trust the process.

This first day has been a positive start for me to develop myself, both in terms of business knowledge, communication skills, and a gradual understanding of the IT industry. I hope to contribute positively to PT Excellent Infotama Kreasindo and grow together with the company.
